This movie marks the debut of Madhavan who is now an actor acting in various languages.Mani Ratnam is the director of this movie.This movie is enriched with a lot of melodious music .One among is”Kathal Sadugudu”.It is a story of two lovers an engineering graduate (Karthik) and a medical student Shakthi..initial attempt by parents of both for marriage were failed due to some misunderstanding.Shakthi was a girl who lived according to the wishes of her parents .So they kept away from each other.But as we all know love can be separated ,their temporary separation can’t last long.That is the power of love.So they resumed their love.In the end of this movie there are moments of tensions and suspense as Shakthi was undergone an accident .
