This Tamil was directed by Mani Ratnam.This film was a sombreros film – by his his standards.This film has been running hot in box offices for a long period of time.This was in a hot pursuit for the awards for the best films in 2000.This film deals with the importance of married life and romance in living.Entire film carries a melodious sound.Music was composed by one and only one A R Rahman.Madhavan is a making a debut in Tollywood in this film.Maniratnam as usual have the courage to make films with Debutants.Negotiating problems the of a fresher Madhavan has played a wonderful role in this film,now all eyes are on him, as a” new romantic” hero…Karthik(Madhavan) is an engineering graduate .He feel deeply into love Shakti who was a medical student.Love does not need a time to ’start’ and ‘end’.Shakthi was atypical village girl who does not want to refuse her parents on marriage nor Karthik.Without the knowledge of parents they met again and again.Anybody can be thrilled the love scenes in the first half.But second half of this film is enriched tensions and disadvantage marriage over love or romance.Any way prince of Indian Music A R Rahman has showed his “class act”.Songs was super hit all over Indian.This song was a trend in Malayalam Industry too.While seeing this movie one can surely feel that Madhavan is not acting ,but living ……
